Any car that is more than 25 years old is classified as a country car. In the US it is known as an antique car or a vintage car. Vintage cars are still popular and there are many makes and models in existence. These cars come in many shapes, sizes and colors and most major car manufacturers do have vintage vehicles.

Some popular models can be difficult to find because they are no longer produced and the best way to find them would be to see whether there is someone is selling theirs. Places like eBay stock hard-to-find cars and will allow you to import one if necessary. The Automobile Industry – A Few Facts

It all started in 1769 when Nicolas J. Cugnot, a French engineer, tested his uncommon invention – a device which can be considered as the first automobile to run on roads. It consisted of a self-powered, three-wheeled, military tractor equipped with a steam engine. However, the automobile invented by Cugnot was not fit for the roads, being too heavy and large. Nevertheless, despite its ample starting point and the limited time it could run, Cugnot’s automobile made its way into history and opened the road for all those to follow.

Other remarkable names in the history of the automobile are those of Robert Anderson, the Scotsman who invented the electric carriage between 1832 and 1839 or of Thomas Davenport and Robert Davison who created more applicable automobiles which used non-recharging electric batteries. It was Henri Ford who, in 1914, introduced the bulk production of cars. From then forward, the car was no longer an icon dedicated to the rich, but it started to be available for the masses as well. New Maruti Wagon R Review

The Wagon R originated in 1993 manufactured by Suzuki Motors in Japan. It is the first “tall boy” concept car of its segment. After the introduction of Maruti Wagon R in India in 1999, Maruti Suzuki profits started to boom highly. Since its, launch till date it is one of the most successful and best-selling of Maruti cars in the country. Today most of the variants of this model have upgraded features with superior technologies.

All the models of this small car have the petrol and CNG versions equipped with 1.0 Liter KB10 series engine having a displacement of 998 cc, that has DOHC, three-cylinder, four-valve configuration. All the variants of the new Maruti Wagon R come with five speed manual gearbox transmission. This engine is the best performer, as the petrol engine can gives tremendous output with a peak power of 68 ps at 6200 rpm and maximum torque of 90 nm at 3200 rpm whereas the CNG version has the capacity to churn out peak power 59.3 ps at 6200 rpm and maximum torque of 77 nm at 3500 rpm.
